At Dahlia Jewel Co, we see the problems that lay behind plated and layered metals for jewellery. Plated and layered metal jewellery is not sustainable in the long term because sooner or later the metal will start to tarnish, fade and chip. This is unfortunate because jewellery can be very sentimental, it would be a shame to retire a piece you once loved. 

Plated jewellery is also not worth the cost of recycling. This means that a once loved piece will never be reformed into something new and is more likely to be thrown away.

At Dahlia Jewel Co we manufacture our pieces will solid metals only, using 925 Solid Sterling Silver and 583 14K Solid Gold.

We pride ourselves with high ethical standards. This is why our Solid Gold Pieces are made with recycled gold and lab grown gemstones.

We do our absolute best to limit waste where we can while packing and shipping our pieces.

We use cardboard postage boxes which are 100% recyclable as well as water and paper based tape for sealing packages. Our Tissue paper and Stickers are also 100% recyclable.

Our jewellery boxes are made with cardboard and with each purchase you receive a keepsake pouch to store your jewellery when not being worn. 

We have taken initiatives such as not printing our 'jewellery care guide' which is available via the QR code to our website stamped on the box.

All employees within and surrounding Dahlia Jewel Co work within ethical and safe environments and are paid fairly for their work. 

Dahlia Jewel Co does not support fast fashion trends. We make quality pieces made to last and treasure for years to come.
